Fran PrezantFran Pollock Prezant, M.Ed., CCC-SLP is a disability consultant, speaker and author who served as a Senior Vice President and Director of Research and Evaluation at Abilities! in New York, and teaching faculty and former Director of the Parent Information Project at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Trained as a speech and language pathologist, she also has expertise as a parent trainer, program director, university instructor, researcher, grant writer/administrator, and author in the disability arena. (Click here for full vitae.) In addition, she has research interests in disability representation in children's books and films.  She is a member and advisory member of several NY based organizations that focus on disability access to the arts and cultural institutions

 

 

Laura MarshakLaura Marshak is a Professor of Counseling at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She teaches in the graduate program that prepares both school and community counselors. In addition, she is a licensed psychologist and is a founding partner of North Hills Psychological Services P.C.  She works with people on a range of issues but specializes in working with parents of children with disabilities, individually and in couples counseling.
